Der eldomat* Nachtmodus für eldoland* ist noch ambitionierter als tagsüber. Nach Mitternacht passt sich die Musikfarbe von eldoradio* dem Anbruch der Dunkelheit an, aber nicht nur. Es entsteht ein Bild aus schroffen Steinfragmenten und scharfen Glassplittern. Die Kontraste reichen von nasskalt bis warmherzig. Die Stimmung ist beängstigend, erschreckend und beruhigend, besänftigend. Kurzum, die Expiditionen ins Musikreich in der der Nacht sind gewagt, schrill und experimentell. Drum 'n' Bass, TripHop, Jungle, House, HipHop, NuJazz, Jazz, Reggae, Ragga. Experimentelles aus allen Musikrichtungen kommt zum Zuge. Was in der Tagesrotation eher die Ausnahme ist - nachts wird es zur Regel. "Instrumentals" sind dann gern gehört, Gesang und Vocals sind nicht von Nöten und die Songs können eine Länge von 10 Minuten und mehr erreichen. In der Nacht werdet Ihr auch mal den letzen und hintersten Song eines Albums entdecken, wenn er experimentell genug ist. Auch Remix-Versionen von den Hits des Tagesprogramms tauchen auf.
